Lampertz develops and manufactures technology around IT infrastructure, specialising in data backup and physical security technology for data centres. The vendor's product portfolio includes UPS, cooling, racking, environmental monitoring and security surveillance. As strategic partner, Powerfirm will distribute these solutions, along with Lampertzes cabling and modular door systems.
Mark Roberts, business development manager for Lampertz, said the agreement will help the company build its market presence and enhance its momentum in the physical-data and system security space.
“Through partnerships like this with Powerfirm, Lampertz will be able to expand its reach into new and existing markets and capitalise on the growing need for secure and sustainable infrastructure for demanding IT environments,” he said.
Graham Halton, business development manager for Powerfirm, said the addition of Lampertz products will continue Powerfirm's drive into specialised physical IT infrastructure distribution.
“The Lampertz solutions are a perfect match for our business in complementing our vision of becoming the preferred provider of IT availability and security solutions for Australia’s leading private and government organisations,” he said.
