Victoria-based distributor Lako Pacific will supply a range of Mac digital TV tuners and wireless audio products from German vendor Terratec.
The deal covers the Cinergy range of external DVB-T tuners that allow MAC users the ability to watch and record TV on the MacBook or iMacs.
In addition to digital TV tuners, Lako Pacific will also be distributing the Noxon range of internet radio and streaming audio devices from Terratec.
Ben McDonald, national sales manager at Lako Pacific, said: “Terratec fills the gap perfectly in a Mac market where there's a lack of variety and options for peripherals such as digital TV tuners.
"Unlike the PC market where there's possibly a dozen or more brands of digital TV tuners, Mac users have no more than four brands in Australia to choose from, now including Terratec's extensive range.”
Both Terratec ranges are shipping from Lako Pacific from the 1 April and will be available from retailers including Dick Smith Powerhouse, Harvey Norman, Myer and Apple stores within Australia.
