NEC Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) has announced that Jason Price will step down as president and CEO at the end of July 2025, after nearly three years in the role.
He will be succeeded by Perth-based Keith Morrison, who has been appointed CEO effective 1 August 2025.
Morrison joined NEC in 2024 as SVP and has played what the company says is a central role in shaping the organisation’s FY25–FY27 strategy. He brings more than 25 years of experience across telecommunications, IT services, and business transformation, having previously held senior leadership roles at Datacom and Kinetic IT.
Price joined NEC in 2022 after nearly 15 years at IBM, serving as VP and GM of IBM Technology for ANZ in his last role at the company.
Price said it's been a privilege to lead NEC through a defining period.
“I’m proud of the progress we’ve made – reshaping the business, strengthening our culture, and setting a clear path for the future," he said.
"I am confident that Keith is the best person to guide the business through its next phase. He brings the right mix of deep experience, energy, clear vision, and a strong understanding of NEC’s strategy and values.”
Morrison said NEC is in a strong position to grow in the region, with a diverse portfolio of solutions, market-leading technologies, and a clear strategic direction.
“This is an exciting time for the business," he said.
"We’ve laid the groundwork for something significant, and I’m honoured to lead NEC into its next phase.
"I look forward to continuing to work closely with our people, customers and industry partners as we accelerate our growth, deliver greater value, and build on the foundation Jason and the team have set.”
