Snowflake names Adrian De Luca VP of APJ solution engineering

Snowflake has appointed Adrian De Luca as its new VP APJ of solution engineering.

Based in Melbourne, he will look to increase adoption of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud across APJ, with a focus on supporting enterprise customers to unlock more value from their data and bring their AI strategies to life.  

Prior to joining Snowflake, De Luca spent more than a decade at AWS, most recently holding the title of director of cloud acceleration for Asia Pacific. For the past three-plus years, he focused almost exclusively on building enterprise AI and agentic systems.

Earlier in his career, De Luca spent almost 15 years with Hitachi Data Systems, becoming CTO of Asia Pacific before leaving to cofound the fitness marketplace app, AirActive.

Throughout his career, De Luca has worked closely with public sector and enterprise clients on strategies to improve security, risk, and compliance in the cloud, including advising the Australian federal government on its cloud policy.
