Ingram Micro Australia has appointed industry veterans Kaaren Lewis and Mo Kandeel into senior leadership positions.
Lewis was named director of advanced solutions, cybersecurity, and hybrid business applications; Kandeel's role is director of endpoint devices and speciality.
They will be part of the refreshed leadership team headed up by executive managing director Hope McGarry, who herself was promoted earlier this year.
Lewis was previously the general manager of Canberra's Allhomes property portal and has also held senior positions at F5 Networks, Commvault and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Kandeel was previously Leader's national commercial business manager, as well as holding senior positions at Blupeak, Fuji Xerox and Emerson Network Power.
At Ingram Micro, Kandeel will oversee vendor relationships, including HPI, Lenovo, Eaton, Meta as well as the distributor's data capture, point of sale and pro audio visual teams.
McGarry said the appointments of Lewis and Kandeel represent a significant step in shaping a future-ready leadership structure at the company.
“Their roles are highly complementary; Kaaren’s deep expertise in cybersecurity, cloud and advanced solutions aligns perfectly with Mo’s strength in endpoint and specialty technology, creating a connected leadership model that mirrors the way our customers buy, deploy and scale technology today," McGarry said.
"Together, they strengthen our ability to deliver integrated, outcome-driven solutions across the entire technology stack—accelerating innovation, driving growth, and ensuring we remain the distributor of choice in an increasingly complex and services-led market."
