Retailer JB Hi Fi has pipped Telstra's more traditional resellers to the 'pinnacle channel partner of the year' award.
Although "a relative newcomer to the telecommunications category", the retailer had achieved "an enormous amount in 18 months as a Telstra channel partner", the managing director of the carrier's consumer group David Moffatt said.
"JB Hi Fi has showed why it is a quality retailer with its commitment to Telstra and the category," Moffatt said.
Fone Zone picked up the business partner of the year gong, while the enterprise partner of the year and unified communications partner of the year awards were won by TT Group.
