Systems integrator JayThom has handed off management of the IT infrastructure underpinning its customers' CRM implementations to BlueCentral.
JayThom implements customer relationship management systems.
It has also developed an application for the local government sector - CouncilRM - that enables councils to integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM with their own systems.
The business's managing director Brett Yorgey said that as local governments sought to get more out of CRM, the infrastructure that it operated on became more complex.
He said that by appointing BlueCentral to manage its application infrastructure, JayThom could "return to its core business -- providing specialist consulting and CRM services expertise".
"Our partnership with BlueCentral supports the direction their business is taking," Yorgey said.
"The agreement enables us to devote resources to specialist consulting services and providing the very best support we can to our customer base.
"We no longer need to focus on fostering skill sets around managing critical infrastructure which had become increasingly sophisticated."
BlueCentral will provide managed infrastructure services, and a dedicated team of engineering and account management expertise to scale easily as the business expands.
"To manage the account BlueCentral will leverage a broad range of technologies including a secure firewall, network switching, server virtualisation and SAN storage and data back-up services," the company said.
