ISPhone on the hunt for 200 resellers

Local VoIP provider ISPhone has unveiled plans to boosts its reseller roster from 75 to 200 by the end of the year.

Last month CRN reported that ISPhone was planning to transition itself away from a pure VoIP focus by building its own telecommunications network.

The firm has since unveiled plans to boost its reseller figures to aid the transformation.

Gavin McDougal, managing director at ISPhone, told CRN the firm is dedicated to providing business grade VoIP for the SME, through the channel.

“We provide a one-stop shop for all of our resellers’ VoIP needs. Over the next couple of months we are doing seminars to launch products and get the message out to resellers.”

McDougal said ISPhone is looking to continue growing its channel and has staff dedicated to finding new channel partners and staff developing its channel partners.

“We have around 75 channel partners at the moment. These range from one or two man bands up to firms with 85 employees. We are looking at getting to around 200 partners by the end of the year,” he said.

McDougal said ISPhone also plans to almost triple its staff figure from 14 to 40. The new staff will work in technical resources and account managers who will work with the channel, he added.
