Interactive has entered into an agreement to acquire the managed cloud services business of Thales, a cyber security partner in Australia.
The price of the proposed transaction was undisclosed.
“For Interactive, this reinforces our competitive position as a leading Australian provider of sovereign, locally delivered Cloud services, deepening our public sector capability and strengthening our customer base," said Alex Coates, CEO at Interactive.
"The acquisition positions us to meet the growing demand from organisations seeking trusted local partners to run critical, sovereign workloads securely and compliantly, and provides access to Interactive’s broader portfolio of cloud, data centre, network and managed services, underpinned by sovereign infrastructure, local expertise and operational excellence."
In October of last year, Interactive launched its AI-ready private cloud platform.
