InTechnology signs distribution deal with wi-fi software maker 7Signal

Queensland-headquartered inTechnology Distribution has signed an exclusive agreement to distribute 7Signal products in Asia-Pacific.

Finland-based 7Signal is a cloud-based wi-fi performance management software provider that helps IT operations know when and where network or user problems started.

InTechnology chief executive Mark Winter said: "While existing solutions indicate whether the network is simply up or down, 7Signal provides support through every stage of the wi-fi performance cycle by actively measuring, analysing and optimising wi-fi networks on a continual basis, providing optimal performance, all the time."

Jeff Reedy, chief executive of 7Signal, said: "We see this relationship enhancing our global presence, while broadening our reach into the Asia Pacific VAR community."

Charlie Creegan, InTechnology chief channel officer, said: "Our business is channel driven and 7Signal creates a very profitable and attractive opportunity for our business partners who want to help customers find and fix wi-fi issues."

The 7Signal Partner Alliance program will launch, along with 7CWE (7Signal certified wireless engineers) certification and rewards for channel partners for "delivering pre- and post-sales value-added services".
