Insentra has signed a new vendor: British data governance firm Torsion Information Security.
Torsion monitors who accesses what across Sharepoint, Teams and Office 365, helping businesses to ensure that only the right people access their information.
The alliance was struck to meet growing demand for Torsion’s wares and the company’s expansion plans.
The statement announcing the Torsion/Insentra deal says the software vendor “plans to “break into new geographies with a focus on the US and Asia Pacific (APAC)”. New geographic expansion is one of the scenarios Insentra explicitly supports.
Torsion CEO Peter Bradley added “The timing of this new partnership could not be better as the demand for data access governance rises in response to increased security and compliance concerns.”
“The reputation of Insentra made them an obvious partner of choice for Torsion,” Bradley added. “Their level of technical expertise around delivery and support coupled with their ability to market and sell data management solutions supports our strategy for expanding into new territories and markets.”
