Ingram Micro has announced a new distribution agreement with Apple device management and security company Jamf for the Australian market.
The partnership will enable Australian resellers to better support the growing demand for secure and scalable Apple deployments across business, government, education, and healthcare sectors.
Ingram's NZ arm had already secured distribution rights for the Kiwi market in 2023.
Through this agreement, Ingram Micro's channel network can now offer Jamf's solutions that are trusted by more than 76,500 organisations worldwide, managing over 33.2 million Apple devices.
"Teaming up with Ingram Micro Australia is a major milestone as we continue to scale our channel footprint in the Asia Pacific," Lloyd Thomas, senior channel manager, APAC at Jamf, said.
Thomas said Ingram Micro's local expertise, trusted reseller network, and strong focus on enablement make them the "ideal partner" to expand Jamf's reach to organisations looking to maximise their Apple investments.
The new distribution arrangement includes Jamf's recently launched solutions: Jamf for Mac, which combines management, identity, and endpoint security with simple deployment; Jamf for Mobile, a mobile-first solution for managing iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and visionOS devices; and Jamf for K-12, designed specifically for educational environments.
"We're excited to welcome Jamf to our vendor portfolio," John Hollings, director of consumer solutions at Ingram Micro Australia, said.
