Ingram Micro will extend its Amazon Web Services (AWS) professional services capabilities globally and enable ISVs and channel partners to make Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPOs) via the AWS Marketplace and Ingram Micro Xvantage.
The multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS expands on new integration enabling partners to access AWS Marketplace through Ingram Micro Xvantage.
Ingram Micro is using its AWS Migration Competency to extend its cloud assessment and migration capabilities globally.
It is also “amplifying” its advisory and optimisation services, to provide partners with guidance on optimising their AWS environments and improving operational efficiency. This includes use of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
The agreement also enables Ingram Micro to include GenAI, analytics, engineering and architecture in its services, by using such AWS services as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Redshift and AWS Glue. This aims to drive advanced AI model development, robust data warehousing, and seamless extract, transform and load (ETL) processes.
CPPOs will enable ISVs to list offerings at scale through channel partners, Ingram Micro announced.
Additionally, channel partners can build and list their offerings, including their own services offerings, into industry solutions such as retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, finance and government, the distributor stated.
Ingram Micro will assist in creating AWS Marketplace listings to drive co-sell greenfield opportunities.
Ingram Micro is the only AWS distributor offering such services capabilities in the APAC, North America, Latin America and EMEA regions, it announced.
“When a channel partner sees a gap in their capabilities, bandwidth, or knowledge, or isn’t sure how to grow, we want them to call on Ingram Micro,” stated Ingram Micro vice president, global partnerships, Duncan Robinson.
“By expanding our relationship with AWS, Ingram Micro is elevating the channel partner experience and fortifying our expertise around AWS.”
Ingram Micro Australia and New Zealand senior vice president and country chief executive, Tim Ament, said the distributor is “committed to enhancing our partners' capabilities in technical delivery and enablement by bringing in advanced technical resources.”
“This helps our partners leverage the full potential of AWS solutions, driving innovation and growth. This SCA showcases not only our partnership with AWS, but also our commitment to support our partners.”
In March 2024, Ingram Micro held an event to promote its AWS Marketplace offering, designed to make it easier for partners to build and take to market solutions via the marketplace.
