Ingram Micro has signed an exclusive deal with Canada-based StarTech.com to bring its connectivity products to Australia.
The deal spans around 230 StarTech.com products, including adapters, extenders, splitters, switches, storage accessories and cables. Additional products will be available through Ingram Micro in the future.
As part of the deal, Ingram Micro will also offer StarTech.com’s ConXit Connection Wizard, an online portal where users can identify the most appropriate product depending on connection type and orders it through Ingram Micro.
“We are excited about this new agreement with Ingram Micro that expands the availability of our products into the Australian market for the first time,” said StarTech.com vice president Ken Kalopsis.
“StarTech.com’s partnership with Ingram Micro Australia will ensure resellers and IT professionals in Australia have access to all the products they need to enable reliable technology solutions. In addition, the exceptional support and resources we offer will make their jobs easier.”
StarTech.com is a Canadian vendor that specialises in “hard-to-find” connectivity products. Its newest products support DisplayPort, Thunderbolt and USB 3.0, as well as legacy technology.
