Ingram and SonicWALL part ways

The relationship with Ingram Micro will mutually end on July 17. 

Dean Redman, country manager, SonicWALL A/NZ said in a statement the company is refining its channel and distribution strategy as the company continues to grow in Australia. 

"The changes come as SonicWALL undergoes a period of significant growth in the Australian market."

SonicWALL said it will launch a new channel partner program next quarter and expects to make further announcements about the program in the coming weeks.

In a statement, David Lenz general manager Enterprise Technology Group Ingram Micro said the two companies have mutually agreed to part ways but partners can continue to purchase SonicWall products from Ingram until further notice.

Neither company wanted to speak to CRN in person.
