ICE TV, an independent EPG provider for digital free to air services, who most famously won a rather protracted court battle against Channel 9 -- who, for reasons of their own, presumably didn't want people to know what was going to be shown on Channel 9 -- today extended the reach of its service with an iPhone App, simply called IceTV.
It's a free download from the iTunes App store that allows non-ICE TV subscribers to view the free to air guide from their iPhone, as well as check out what full ICE TV subscribers are choosing to watch. Based on the current status, a lot of them rather like Doctor Who, which we can't fault.
Full ICETV subscribers with networked PVRs -- which would be just about all of them except users of very early Topfield models -- can use the App to schedule and change recordings on their home PVR remotely.
ICE TV's had Mac and PC widgets available for some time that perform this function, and the iPhone app will co-ordinate with the desktop widget if you're running both.
ICE adds the iPhone to its EPG arsenal
