Hyve Managed Hosting, a UK-based global provider of managed hosting solutions, has launched its new Australian hub in Sydney, strengthening its ability to support customers across Australia and the wider APAC region.

The company has secured an office in the city and plans to move into a new location in the Bondi Junction area later this year.

Expected to open in October, the new office will serve as a hub for the company’s growing Australia-based sales, technical support and engineering teams, providing organisations across the region with direct access to local expertise, from the initial scoping process through to ongoing support.

Hyve also stated that its Sydney and Melbourne-based data centre locations are now live and being delivered via Equinix.

This presence lets the company provide local customers with services including Virtual Private Cloud and Private Cloud solutions, backed by managed security and compliance expertise.

Both data centre locations have been set up with the capacity to expand as customer demand increases.

Hyve is now also exploring further expansion within Australia, including a potential data centre location in Perth, as part of its longer-term plan to support customers across the region.

“We are really excited to be launching in Australia at a time when organisations are looking for a simpler and more accountable approach to managing cloud infrastructure,” said Angus Jones, managing director, APAC, Hyve Managed Hosting.

“With live data centre locations in Sydney and Melbourne, a Sydney office in development and our full Hyve portfolio available locally, we are ideally placed to help Australian organisations run critical workloads with confidence and control from day one.”
