Hyro has acquired privately-held technology and government services company, One Planet Solutions (OPS), for $2.7 million.
The acquisition gives Hyro a bigger presence in Canberra, expanding its service delivery capability in that market, said Joe Calavassy (pictured), Hyro chief executive officer.
"All of OPS' 30 staff will move across to Hyro's Canberra office, taking the total number to just over 45," he said.
Hyro has forecast the acquisition of OPS to net it around $7.3 million in revenue by the end of the 2007 calendar year.
The latest buy comes off the back of Hyro’s recent purchase of Identity Solutions Laboratories Limited, a New Zealand-based identity management specialist and rounds out a series of acquisitions that the management team have been pursuing over the last nine months, said Calavassy.
OPS is a Microsoft Certified Partner with a presence in the federal government market.
Its clients include the Department of Industry Tourism & Resources, Department of Treasury, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Transport and Regional Services.
