HPE launches Cloud28+ initiative with Somerville, Brennan IT, BlueApache, AC3, ASG and NEC

HPE has opened its one-stop-shop for cloud services in Asia-Pacific and Japan and recruited some of the largest partners in Australia to join.

The Cloud28+ initiative aims to remove the barriers to adopting cloud imposed by market fragmentation by establishing a single portal to offer customers cloud and professional services.

The group already has 40 HPE partners on board, including Somerville, Brennan IT, BlueApache, AC3, ASG and NEC.

Microsoft is also a member, and will work with HPE to create a joint Azure Stack ISV onboarding program focused on connecting software vendors and generating leads for partners.

Customers will have access to a single catalogue of cloud services on offer from partners, which can also participate and learn more on cloud-related topics. Customers can also partner with service providers to resell their own products through the portal.

Cloud28+ is free for customers to search and for partners to join. Microsoft ISV and HPE Partner Ready partners will also have immediate access to the program.

“Cloud is a critical component to ensuring a stronger digital economy in Asia-Pacific and Japan," said HPE enterprise group vice president and general manager Stephen Bovis.

"Hosted and secured in Asia Pacific and Japan, Cloud28+ gives local and regional organisations the opportunity to find the best mix of services by trusted HPE partners, while allowing partners to demonstrate their unique value add.”

Cloud28+ has 570 partners globally and offers close to 20,000 services from 350 data centres.
