Hosted Network has appointed Anthony Rosa as its new director of sales.
Rosa will have responsibility for sales team performance, revenue growth and partner engagement across its base of managed service provider (MSP) partners.
Rosa brings more than a decade of channel and MSP-focused sales leadership to the position. He joins from LastPass, where he most recently served as MSP international sales manager, building and expanding the company’s MSP business unit across the APAC and EMEA regions.
Prior to that, he held senior channel roles at N-able, including principal channel manager for APAC, and began his channel career at Dimension Data.
Hosted Network CEO and founder Ben Town said Rosa’s appointment is about setting the sales team up for its next stage of growth.
“We’ve grown a lot and we’ve got a strong sales team that’s got us here. Bringing Anthony in is about giving them the leadership and structure to go even further," he said.
"I wanted someone who’s built and scaled teams before and could help us take this next step. I’ve watched Anthony do exactly that, more than once, and the timing was right for both of us.”
Rosa said his decision to join Hosted Network came down to alignment on how the company approaches its partners.
“I’ve spent years consulting and building sales teams for vendors and MSPs, and I kept seeing the same pattern… an MSP hires a salesperson, but with no sales process in place, that person is often let go within a year, even though they never really had the chance to learn what good looked like," he said.
"Hosted Network is different. I’ve known Ben and the team for a while, the culture is genuine. Everyone holds each other accountable, and its reputation with MSPs is excellent. The opportunity to help build and elevate that sales team, inside a business like this, was an easy decision.”
