Autonomous security testing vendor Horizon3 has appointed Chris Wood as director of sales for Australia and New Zealand and Vivienne Horsfall as growth marketing director for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Wood, based in Melbourne, will lead Horizon3's ANZ sales efforts and channel partnerships. He was previously regional vice president for APJ at Quest Software and One Identity, and has held regional vice president roles at Imperva and ANZ regional director at Sourcefire, where he helped establish and grow the company's Australian business.

Horsfall, based in Sydney, will lead brand awareness, regional marketing programmes, and partner and alliance marketing across APJ.

She brings three decades of marketing experience, most recently as APJ director of field marketing at Transmit Security, where she built the field marketing function across Australia and New Zealand, Japan and Southeast Asia. She has also held senior marketing roles at Ping Identity, Dyn, Lexmark and Ricoh.

The two appointments are part of a broader regional push that includes more than 50 hires across APJ and the recent launch of a Sydney point of presence to support organisations with local security data hosting requirements.

Gareth Cox, vice president of sales for Asia Pacific and Japan at Horizon3, said the regional leadership additions would help translate the company's infrastructure and team investment into stronger support for customers and partners.

"Chris brings extensive experience building cybersecurity businesses and customer relationships across Australia and New Zealand. Vivienne brings deep regional marketing expertise and a strong understanding of how to engage customers, partners, and alliances across APJ," Cox said.

Horizon3's NodeZero platform, which runs autonomous penetration tests in production environments, has conducted more than 350,000 security tests for more than 7,000 organisations worldwide, the company said.
