G.Skill taps Leader Computers as newest Aussie distributor

PC distributor Leader Computers has added gaming memory manufacturer G. Skill to its list of vendors, expanding the company’s gaming line-up.

Taiwan-based G. Skill specialises in memory, flash storage and PC gaming peripherals.

“I am delighted to announce the distribution of G.Skill,” Leader managing director Theo Kristoris said. “With our five warehouses and more than 40 account managers we will be able to service our resellers fast with the latest and full range of G.Skill products.”

Leader product director Simon Yang said that G. Skill’s popularity and pulling power would help boost sales for their resellers, citing the growing E-Sports scene and gaming PC market.

Leader, whose gaming portfolio includes manufacturers like Corsair, Logitech and Intel, also produces its own line of desktop PCs.

There are no immediate plans of having G.Skill memory pre-installed in the desktops, but a spokesperson for the company said that it may be a possibility sometime in the future as their partnership progresses.

G.Skill also has a distribution partnership with Ingram Micro and its products are available from 23 different retailers.
