gizmo appoints new CEO

Home and small business technology support company gizmo has appointed a Ben Ashton as CEO.

Ashton has replaced former COO Justin Sullivan, who served as gizmo's CEO for only two months before taking up a position at Westfield.

He was hired through a recruitment campaign and joins gizmo with managerial experience in executive roles at Staging Connections Group Limited and the PBL Media Group.

Ashton will be based in the company's Sydney headquarters.

"With key channel partnerships locked in with all of the key vendors in this space, there is no shortage of growth opportunities for gizmo," Ashton said in a statement.

"I am really looking forward to being part of the gizmo success story."
