DevSecOps platform GitLab has launched its expanded Managed Service Partner (MSP) partner program, intended to enable MSPs to deliver a single managed service spanning the entire software development lifecycle.
The program builds on the recent availability of GitLab Duo Agent Platform, which gives MSP partners a foundation for how their customers plan, develop, test, secure and deploy software.
The company said demand for managed deployment options meeting local data residency standards is strong across several jurisdictions, including APAC. Partners can deploy GitLab, including agentic AI capabilities, across MSP-owned data centres, colocation facilities, along with customer or hyperscaler environments.
Highlights of the program include enhanced revenue opportunities for qualified MSPs; priority support and escalation; not-for-resale licenses; and marketing development funds and co-branding.
The latter benefit encompasses funds for customer acquisition, along with joint case studies and speaking opportunities at GitLab events.
“This program strengthens our commitment to the MSP channel and positions our partners to capture growing demand for agentic AI automation across the software development lifecycle," said Ian Steward, chief revenue officer at GitLab.
"By enabling MSPs to deliver our complete platform as a managed service, we're creating a scalable path to market that benefits partners, customers, and GitLab's long-term growth strategy. We're looking forward to seeing all that our partners will accomplish under this program."
