It is already an independent provider of Avaya Professional Services and is known to Avaya's principle distributor; Distribution Central.
Geomant Australia will provide presence and support for resellers of its new 'Business Integration Suite'.
The suite works with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 release 2 (R2) to provide customers with integrated communications and business applications.
"We work with the channels and our value to them is in providing development expertise and integration components that help them deliver complex integration solutions (including deployment) to their end users more effectively," said Stuart Marsh regional director for Geomant Australia.
"The next step is to promote our presence to the Business Partner channels as well.
"In the UK we work with eight out of the nine Avaya Platinum/Gold Business Partners.
"We are also a Microsoft Gold Partner and develop enhancement products for their Unified Messaging platforms and are therefore already known to some Australian channels such as Dimension Data who resell our Microsoft UM products," Marsh added.
The company will be promoting and supporting its existing range of Unified Communication and Contact Centre software products that enhance Unified Communication platforms such as Avaya, Microsoft, Cisco and Genesys.
Marsh said that the focus on enterprise efficiency is driving huge interest and growth in unified communication solutions and Australian businesses are traditionally early adopters.
He added that Geomant enables rapid deployment of these technologies which offers real value in this market.
