ASX-listed utility software solutions provider has successfully completed a significant transformation project for the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF).
This project marks a pivotal moment for WAF, providing a future-proofed cloud platform that aims to enhance customer experiences, improve billing and collections operations, and support advanced water metering technologies in Fiji.
The project involved migrating WAF's Gentrack solution to a high-performance Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
This transition was accomplished within the timeframe set by WAF, ensuring minimal disruption to customer and revenue operations.
The new system is expected to provide immediate cost savings through the digitisation and automation of key billing, customer, and revenue activities.
Sekove Uluinayau, chief customer officer at the Water Authority of Fiji, said the completion of the project is a major step forward in the authority's journey to improve its service delivery to customers."
"The new cloud platform will enable us to better serve our customers and meet our strategic objectives as an essential service provider in Fiji," Uluinayau said.
WAF has been engaging in an ongoing effort to modernise its operation and improve service delivery for customers across Fiji.
The migration to the Gentrack platform on AWS is set to foster a more customer-centric experience and unlock the potential of Gentrack's revenue management capabilities.
WAF can now focus on automating additional business processes and maximising the benefits of the new cloud platform, including enhanced debt recovery and reduced operational costs.
