Teamwork Technology’s firm focus on vertical specialisation led to revenue raising by 27% year over year in the 2025 financial year, reaching close to $8 million and landing it a place in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50.

The Sydney-based managed services provider made 60% of its FY25 revenue through managed services, with PC and peripherals its second biggest earner at 18% of revenue.

Other services it provided included data centre services, telco solutions, SaaS licencing and more.

The biggest key vertical for Teamwork was private healthcare, which included picking up a project aligning the tech stack across 55 dental practices for a national dental corporate.

Property was the second-biggest vertical, with retail coming in third.

Teamwork managing director James Borg said the growth was a result of being “laser-focused” on its specialist verticals.

“Staying in this lane means we can more easily onboard and service clients to our high standards,” he said.

“We did, though, shift our targeting within those verticals to larger groups and multi-site deals that drove the average contract value up. Churn was stable over the year, largely due to our well-oiled support team delivering consistent support, this also keeps our growth on track.”

Expanding in these verticals remains a priority, but Borg added that other verticals with similar technology and systems have been identified for further growth.

“We intend to expand our marketing to push into another vertical and get traction where we traditionally have a smaller client base,” he said.

As the company has grown, Teamwork has had the not-unusual experience of struggling with staffing.

Borg said this has been an issue since COVID, but the company was becoming proficient at mitigating this challenge.

“Being more proactive in our attitude to staffing led to reducing the urgency of hires,” he explained to techpartner.news.

“Instead of service suffering then trying to find staff, better forecasting and proactively advertising meant we could take our time to get the right staff rather than settling on what was available at the time of need.”

He said the company invested in a round of hiring in FY25 with a view to the growth to come in FY26.

“Building this foundation means that the client growth this year can be supported without losing clients or reducing our responsiveness,” he said.

Teamwork expanded its Melbourne office to meet the influx of clients from across Victoria and plans to continue to focus on its growth across Australia from its locations in Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and Sydney.
