Chris Scott has joined 5G Networks as an independent non-executive director.
Scott has been the head coach of the Geelong Football Club in the AFL since 2011 and previously had a playing tenure with the Brisbane Lions from 1994–2007, followed by an assistant coaching role at the Fremantle Football Club.
His corporate and academic credentials include executive education programs at Harvard University, Stanford University, New York University, Columbia University, and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
As a Professor of Practice at Deakin University, Scott has collaborated with the University’s data science team in the area of sports science, combining practical expertise with data-driven innovation.
He also holds a leadership position at Morris Finance, a finance and asset management firm, where he contributes strategic insights to help drive business growth and operational efficiency.
5G Networks chairman Hugh Robertson said Scott brings a unique blend of leadership, strategic insight, and high-performance culture from his career in sport.
