Brisbane-based Microsoft partner Insync Technology has appointed David Gray as its Microsoft alliance manager.
Gray was previously BitTitan's ANZ territory manager, where he was responsible for all partnerships, alliances and sales in the region.
He left the managed services automation vendor in January to join Megaport, taking up a partner development role and working with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba and Oracle.
In his new role at the multi-year CRN Fast50 company, Gray will work with Microsoft's One Commercial Partner and enterprise sales team to align Insync closer to the vendor's cloud strategy.
Gray told CRN that he will also look to grow the Insync brand into NSW and eventually open an office in the state.
“I’m very happy to join the team at Insync Technology – to be joining a company that truly puts emphasis on strong vendor relationships and puts customers first," Gray said.
"As public cloud adoption ramps up and the modern workplace story evolves my role will be to understand and shape our solutions to ensure our mutual customers can benefit from the Microsoft vision.”
Insync general manager Nathan Belling said: “David understands how to partner with Microsoft after working with vendors and partners in previous roles to accelerate their success.
"David will spearhead our efforts in engaging with Microsoft locally to turbocharge our visibility and ensure our key solution sets are aligned with the Microsoft vision to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more."
Based in Brisbane, Insync specialises in Microsoft's portfolio of enterprise solutions, including cloud and unified communications software. The company took out Microsoft's emerging partner of the year award in 2015.
