Trans-Tasman managed service provider First Focus said it has acquired unified communications (UC) specialist Tie Networks in Adelaide, with office in Melbourne, strengthening its voice and communication technology offerings across Australia.
Tie Networks' managing director Andrew Simpson and his entire team will join First Focus, for service continuity, while bringing additional technical expertise to the merged organisation.
"At First Focus, we look for organisations that share our values and customer-first approach. Tie Networks stood out with their deep expertise in unified communications and strong client relationships," Ross Sardi, chief executive officer of First Focus, said.
The acquisition combines two companies aligned on innovation and customer service, First Focus said.
Tie Networks has established itself by providing tailored communication solutions across various industries, developing long-term partnerships through its customer-centric approach.
In November last year, First Focus bought Section Group in Melbourne; prior to that acqusition, First Focus bought Adelaide software developer Enee in February of 2024.
The value of the deal was not disclosed, but more deals by the acquisition hungry company could be in the offing.
A spokesperson for First Focus said "we’re actively exploring more acquisitions across the country, making this an exciting time (and a great opportunity) for tech business owners looking to sell."
