First CRN Impact Awards finalists to be announced July 1, Amazon Web Services revealed as sponsor

On July 1 we will begin revealing the finalists in the 2024 CRN Impact Awards – and in the meantime, we are excited to announce that AWS will be the naming rights sponsor of this year’s CRN Impact Awards event at CRN Pipeline.

In addition, we are excited to also announce that Westcon-Comstor has joined the list of CRN Pipeline 2024 sponsors.

The CRN Impact awards, which recognise outstanding customer projects, innovation and people in the Australian IT channel, will be presented at the Pipeline 2024 conference in August. The awards are a standout event on the Australian IT channel calendar.

AWS’s sponsorship recognises the significance of cloud services to many IT partner businesses and customer projects. Cloud projects are key to various CRN Impact Awards finalist projects this year. Finalist projects announced soon also involve Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, modern work, telecommunications, infrastructure, networking, customer experience and sustainability. Standout channel leaders and channel innovation will also be announced.

Managing director for Australia at Westcon-Comstor, Phil Cameron, said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring CRN Pipeline jointly with AWS. Our longstanding ten-year AWS collaboration puts us in a unique position to help both born in the cloud and MSPs on their cloud journey."

Last year, more than 200 people gathered at the CRN Impact Awards gala dinner for the announcement of the 2023 CRN Impact Award winners.

Award winners achieved everything from helping three separate councils separate while saving the client half a million dollars a year, moving a major United States financial client's on-premise trade surveillance technology to cloud native architecture, and supporting an indigenous-owned organisation with an aerial drone program using 5G network to connect elders with the operations of their local rangers.

The Impact Awards will be part of a dynamic CRN Pipeline agenda which includes expert talks, panel discussions, roundtables, awards and networking designed to help attendees adapt to evolution of the channel landscape and within their businesses, and how they can evolve professionally as leaders.

See the CRN Pipeline 2024 agenda and register your interest in attending.
