FireEye channel boss departs
Lani Edwards

FireEye Australia head of channels Lani Edwards has left the company after 18 months.

Edwards joined FireEye in March last year after a six-year career at Juniper Networks, where she was most recently head of channels for Australia.

Sean Kopelke, director of channel and commercial sales for FireEye APJ, confirmed the departure, saying that Edwards was leaving to pursue new challenges.

Kopelke reaffirmed that FireEye would continue working with the channel in the future. "We put a major focus on partners, particularly here in Australia, and you can expect we will continue to provide opportunities and accelerate our engagement in this area.

"This is a critical time for Australia to shore up its cybersecurity, more people are realising this, and this creates significant opportunities for partners.”
