Application delivery specialists F5 networks are set to boost the number of system integrators it deals with as the company brings a new product offering to market.
According to Adrian Noblett, Solutions Architect for APAC for F5 Networks, the new Big IQ solution is a management platform for application delivery controllers, and an API standard for delivering cloud services and apps on demand.
“It is designed to help simplify the provisioning of application services in cloud, whether they’re private, public or a hybrid offering,” Noblett said.
Noblett said F5 is a 100 percent channel delivery organisation. The company’s channel partner program is called Unity, and is composed of three tiers.
At the base tier, any organisation can sign up and, with approval, become an F5 reseller.
“The next level is a silver tier, and that requires more training and certification,” he said.
“And in the Gold space, this includes IBM and HP and Dell, and other system integrators with a bigger investment in our technology,” he added.
All up, the company has eight gold-level partners in Australia, and the organisation’s products are distributed by Westcon, Distribution Central and Observatory Crest.
