ASX-listed integrator ASG Group has hired a former Oracle and Sun executive in a key strategic sales role.
Peter Fuller will be head of strategic sales with responsibility for the $150 million-turnover integrator's NSW and Victoria and business.
Fuller was formerly vice president of Oracle's Systems business in Australia and New Zealand from 2010 to 2012.
Prior to that, he was the director of Sun Microsystems' software practise in Australia and New Zealand.
He was also general manager of the SAS Institute Australia's Victorian business, which according to his resume was responsible for winning what was the vendor's largest credit risk management deal in the Asia Pacific at the time.
Most recently, Fuller was the regional vice president and managing director for Progress Software, a role he has held since early 2012.
In a statement, ASG praised Fuller's ability to "secure new business from major Australian corporates in a short space of time."
Earlier this year ASG reported it had signed contracts worth $21 million and had additional agreements worth $80 million in final stages of approval.
