ERP software vendor Syspro has made two key executive hires to lead its Australasian business, with a new channel chief and sales director joining the ranks.
Former Pronto channel chief Albert Lau was appointed as strategic alliances and channel manager for the manufacturing and distribution software specialist. Lau worked for Pronto for close to two decades before joining Syspro, most recently as channel manager before his departure in 2015.
Syspro's Australasian CEO Rob Stummer, who only recently joined the company himself, said Lau would play a pivotal role
“As a channel sales professional with a vast network, Albert has a deep understanding of complex business to business landscapes, with significant expertise in business process improvement, sales execution, strategic planning and partner engagement," Syspro's said
“Albert will play a pivotal role in growing Syspro’s PartnerUP program and building a thriving channel community in the highly competitive enterprise software landscape in this region.”
The other key hire is former Sage and Infor sales exec Todd Hunt as sales director.
"Todd is one of the most highly regarded and respected sales directors across the Asia-Pacific region and will use his extensive experience in enterprise software to deliver exceptional customer support and growth across the Australasian region," Stummer said
With the two new hires onboard, Stummer said Todd and Albert's appointments were a testament to the vendor's growth strategy.
“We are already seeing SYSPRO’s business in Australia and New Zealand gaining significant momentum with a new structure in place to accelerate our growth. Our renewed focus and emphasis on a new ‘Customer First Engagement’ model, combined with a clear mandate to grow our strategic alliances and channel in this region, puts us in a very strong position indeed."
