Computer parts reseller, EMPR has launched an online sales mechanism that lets resellers and end-users order replacement parts for Toshiba products.
Developed by Perth web design company Hutchens IT in conjunction with Perfect Computing, a company based in Idaho, USA, the site lets users search from a database of 47,000 genuine Toshiba parts.
Components are available for Toshiba notebooks, Pocket PCs, notebook expansion devices and projectors.
Travis Kerslake from Hutchens IT, told CRN that resellers can now buy parts from EMPR (Electronic Master Parts Reseller) that until now were unavailable online.
EMPR, a division of Parallel Solutions, has also been an out-of-warranty trade parts contractor for HP Australia since 2003. One year later, HP launched it's own online HP Parts store.
Chris Russell, operations director at EMPR Australia, said the ability to sell Toshiba parts was a milestone for the company.
End users and resellers are being encouraged to purchase online with the offer of a five percent discount against phone orders.
