DXN awarded $2 million data centre contract by DP World

ASX-listed modular and prefabricated data centre provider DXN has been awarded a $2 million contract by DP World Australia (DP World) to deliver two high-performance modular data centres for operations in NSW.

Under the terms of the contract, DXN will supply two fully integrated prefabricated modular data centres to DP World, including full design and engineering, prefabrication, and fit out to both the modular data centre and back-up systems.

The agreement also requires delivery of the two units to DP World’s operations in Port Botany, NSW.

Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of Q3 calendar year 2025.

This project marks DXN’s first engagement with DP World - a global trade and logistics organisation - and continues DXN's expansion into high-availability infrastructure for ports, logistics, and transport sectors.

DXN MD and CEO, Shalini Lagrutta, said this project demonstrates the capability to support customers in high-demand, operationally sensitive environments with reliable and scalable modular data centre solutions.

"Further it highlights the wide variety of industries such as transportation that have a growing need of high-quality on-premise technical infrastructure that DXN’s custom designed prefabricated offering can support," said Lagrutta.

Last year, DXN raised $6.5 million via institutional investors, part of which was to be used for "modular data centre innovation".
