Silicon Valley based file sharing platform Soonr will be distributed in Australia via security provider Manage Protect.

Soonr will be the first cloud "fileshare/collaboration service" with local infrastructure and targeted at small to medium businesses to be delivered completely via the channel in Australia, claimed a Manage Protect representative.

Manage Protect has 450 resellers in Australia.

Data will be stored at a Vocus data centre in Sydney and with Next DC in Melbourne, according to the representative.

Manage Protect is pushing Soonr's security compliance: "Soonr is one of the very few cloud service providers with audited internal operational controls that comply with SSAE-16 and ISAE 3402 standards for security," read a press release.

Soonr was founded in 2005.
