Digital Realty finds new Asia-Pacific boss
Daryl Dunbar

Data centre co-location provider Digital Realty has appointed Daryl Dunbar as its managing director for Asia-Pacific.

He follows former managing director Bernard Geoghegan, who was appointed in October. Geoghegan will resume his role as managing director for EMEA.

“We are pleased to welcome Daryl to the Digital Realty team and look forward to strengthening our presence in the region under his leadership,” said COO Jarrett Appleby.

Most recently, Dunbar was head of IT services at UK telecommunications and data centre services company Colt Technology Services.

Dunbar will be responsible for developing strategies for new markets.

“Our client portfolio has expanded rapidly across our facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, and the list continues to grow,” said Appleby.

Last month Digital Realty promoted Damien Spillane to director of sales engineering for Asia-Pacific as part of a move to grow the business in the region.
