Digital Health SA has issued a request for quote (RFQ) for an Enterprise Architecture Management System (EAMS) to provide a single, accurate and up-to-date view of digital assets across applications, infrastructure, integrations and data flows, together with lifecycle status, ownership, usage, business criticality and business capability mapping.

Digital Health SA is the division of SA Health responsible for providing and maintaining the ICT that supports the state’s healthcare system. The division's 600-strong workforce of employees carry out a variety of roles, from delivering and managing ICT projects to maintaining the ‘live’ ICT environment used by the entire South Australian public healthcare system.

The EAMS is intended to support enterprise architecture, strategic decision-making, contract and lifecycle management, operational impact analysis and the Consolidation, Rationalisation and Standardisation (CRS) program across the SA Health environment.

The requirements include a unified inventory of applications, integrations, infrastructure, data flows and related digital assets; lifecycle status, ownership, business criticality/tiers and business capability mapping; and configurable alerts for contract expiry, renewal windows, certificate expiry, vendor end-of-support/end-of-life dates and known vulnerabilities

Further requirements include dependency and impact analysis across business services, applications, integrations, servers, databases and network segments; identity protocol dependency mapping and identification of changes in the environment, including new applications and infrastructure; and automated discovery feeds, scheduled imports, reconciliation rules, data quality controls, drift detection, trend analysis and auditable change history.

Implementation expectations include configuration, data import, integration setup, testing, user training, , and provision of implementation planning, milestones, acceptance criteria, handover to support and ongoing support arrangements.

The length of the contract is 12 months and the indicative start date for the contract is July 1.

Submissions for the RFQ close at 2PM SA time on 9 June.
