Dicker Data has launched an enterprise data business unit off the back of a new partnership with Hitachi Data Systems, offering resellers new products for IoT and digital transformation solutions in the midmarket and enterprise sectors.
The distie said the new division would “help partners go to market with pre-integrated end-to-end solutions that simplify the complex IT sales cycle and deliver faster and better data management solutions to support digital business outcomes for customers”.
The deal marks the latest in a string of enterprise data and storage deals for Dicker, which both Dell EMC’s and Pure Storage’s full storage portfolio in May.
The new distribution agreement with Hitachi will see Dicker leverage the vendor’s data, operational technology, IT and IoT offerings for its reseller partners. The deals are hoped to bolster IT providers’ solutions opportunities for customers with growing data sets.
Dicker Data chief executive David Dicker was pleased to announce the new partnership.
