Dicker Data has signed an agreement to distribute SHARP display and visual solutions in Australia.
The partnership builds on Dicker Data’s established relationship with Dynabook and reflects the broader alignment between the two businesses in supporting partners across modern workplace, mobility and visual technology environments.
Through the agreement, Dicker Data partners will gain access to SHARP’s LED display solutions, supported by the distributor’s dedicated local sales, technical and enablement resources.
The addition of SHARP also supports Dicker Data’s broader vendor diversity strategy by giving partners access to another global brand within the display category.
Luke Trinh, GM of hardware at Dicker Data said the company already has strong vendor coverage across key display categories, but LED was an area where Dicker Data saw an opportunity to provide partners with greater choice and a more complete solution set.
"SHARP’s portfolio allows us to fill that gap with a globally recognised brand that is known for quality, reliability and innovation," he said.
“For our partners, this creates new opportunities to engage customers across corporate, education, retail, hospitality and public sector environments where demand for high-quality visual experiences continues to grow.”
Tony Yamane, MD of Sharp Corporation of Australia, said the agreement marked an important step in extending Sharp’s display business into new markets across Australia.
“Dicker Data has an outstanding reputation for supporting partners with the resources and expertise they need to succeed, and this agreement gives Sharp’s LED display and visual solutions a strong route to market across corporate, education, retail, hospitality and public sector customers,” he said.
“Sharp has a long history of engineering excellence in display technology, and this partnership allows us to bring that quality and reliability to a wider partner network through Dicker Data’s local sales, technical and enablement capability."
