Dicker Data has opened registrations for its partner conference TechX 2024 that will kick off in Brisbane on 25 July before visiting Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
The one night event will bring together Australia and New Zealand's (ANZ) top reseller and vendor partners to connect and learn about industry trends.
TechX 2024 will feature over 60 technology vendors in Australia and over 40 in New Zealand, with former Canalys CEO and Canapii co-founder Steve Brazier featuring as a special guest across all ANZ events.
“Our goal for TechX has always been to help our partners not only discover what’s next, but to chart a course to success in our rapidly evolving industry," said Ben Johnson, ANZ general manager of marketing and strategy at Dicker Data.
"That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, live and in person at every location across both Australia and New Zealand, will be Steve Brazier."
"In his time leading Canalys, Steve was a beacon to the global IT industry, providing the insights and roadmap to success for partners and vendors alike."
"Bringing a global perspective with tailored analysis specifically for the ANZ market, we’re looking forward to providing all of our partners across ANZ with the opportunity to hear from Steve in person in every city.”
TechX will visit the following locations in 2024:
- Brisbane on 25 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
- Perth on 6 August at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
- Melbourne on 3 September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
- Sydney on 10 September at the Sydney International Convention and Centre
- Auckland on 15 October at the Viaduct Events Centre.
"The tech partners in ANZ rival the US as the fastest to adopt new technology," Brazier said.
"The region was the first to cloud and can it be the first to AI too? It sure helps to move fast although success is not guaranteed, especially with the AI business models still unclear."
"I'm excited to join the Dicker Data crew in exploring five locations across three months and sharing the latest research into channel trends."
TechX last toured Australia in 2022, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
The event attracted over 3,500 channel partners and featured more than 50 vendors.
“TechX has grown to become our industry’s largest platform to connect, learn and grow," said Vlad Mitnovetski, executive director and COO at Dicker Data.
"And as a not-for-profit event, with every sponsorship dollar reinvested into bringing the event series to life and creating value for our partners and sponsors, TechX is an unmatched platform that helps the ANZ channel chart its course to success, run for the betterment of our ecosystem."
"We’re looking forward to welcoming every partner and every vendor in the ANZ ecosystem to TechX 2024.”
“Join us at TechX 2024 and discover why Dicker Data is the ANZ channel’s platform for building success across every technology segment."
The impact of TechX 2022 on the channel community saw Dicker Data named as Large Distributor of the Year at the 2023 CRN Impact Awards.
“Partners can maximise their ROI at TechX by booking one-on-one meetings in advance with our top sponsors to discuss their specific needs, explore new partnerships and discover ways to expand existing ones," Johnson said.
"Furthermore, partners are encouraged to explore our exhibition floor and attend interactive presentations from our sponsors, specifically designed to equip them with the tools and strategies to capitalise on the latest market opportunities, including AI and more."
IT partners can now register online for TechX 2024 events in Australia and New Zealand.
