Dicker Data forms exclusive partnership with TechClick

Dicker Data has secured an exclusive partnership with Melbourne-headquartered cloud migration services firm TechClick.

Microsoft partner TechClick offers Azure migration and assessment services in addition to those covering Sentinel implementation, Essential 8 security, identity management and data loss prevention.

Launched last week at Microsoft AI Innovate in Sydney, the collaboration provides Dicker Data's partners access to TechClick's cloud migration and assessment services in addition to funded migrations.

Dicker Data's GM of Microsoft Cloud Australia Sarah Loiterton said the deal removes the traditional barriers of cloud migration for partners.

"...[TechClick] take on the risk and they have the certifications and the people and the expertise to take workloads from on premise up to the cloud," she said.

"The reason why we're excited to bring [the partnership] to market now is Microsoft through certain models are actually able to 100 percent fund some of the migrations that are done via TechClick and Dicker Data."

"All of a sudden partners have gone from not having the skill sets or having to face large costs to be able to do migrations, to now having potentially no cost and having all the risks and associated challenges of doing cloud migrations taken on by someone else, like a trusted third party."

Loiterton said Dicker Data has already completed several migrations for partners via TechClick that have delivered a "partner experience exceeding our expectations" and provided "the support and the requirements that they need to actually close deals."

TechClick's founder and CEO Regina Melamed said the partnership allows the company to benefit from the "unmatched" scale and reach of Dicker Data's partner community in Australia and New Zealand.

"We’re looking forward to helping Dicker Data and their partners capitalise on the Microsoft Azure opportunity with our scalable, fully funded migration services,” she said.

Teaming up with TechClick enables Dicker Data "to have conversations with partners that just weren't feasible before this partnership," Loiterton said.

"If a partner was very much in the Microsoft ecosystem from a Microsoft 365 or a CSP [Cloud Service Provider] perspective...this now negates the concerns around cloud migration and the issue of managing the cloud, or even just knowing how to close cloud deals."

"Just having that expertise in itself is a really powerful thing that's now enabling our partners to go to market with a new offering. So it's a powerful game changer for our partners."
