ASX-listed service provider Destra has scheduled three roadshows across Australia next week with a view to creating a group of super resellers for its range of internet-related communications products and services.
Terry Blenkinsop, national sales and marketing manager at Destra, said the e-commerce services provider wanted to start doing roadshows to "empower" its resellers to tackle a broader range of technologies and markets in the wake of its Techex Communications acquisition.
"We want to encourage them to take advantage of the now expanding product set," he said. "We want a set of super resellers."
The three breakfast briefings take place in Brisbane on 23 November, Sydney on 24 November and Melbourne on 25 November. Twenty, 59 and 55 of Destra's 1000 resellers respectively had already signed up to attend by 15 November, Blenkinsop said.
Any interested resellers should visit http://www.myrego.com/techex/ to register, he said.
Blenkinsop said about 80 percent of Destra's 1000 resellers were active.
"Destra's various divisions have joined forces to enable their individual reseller communities to take advantage of additional business communications services to resell to their customer base. The roadshow is open to resellers not currently associated with destra that may find the opportunity of interest or value," Blenkinsop said.
The service provider's four divisions – shared webhosting service provider OzHosting.com Priority One, voice and data specialist Techex Communications, enterprise hosting and co-location provider OzHosting Advanced and domain registration service provider TPP Internet – would all present at the roadshows, he said.
Destra planned to deliver more broadband, wireless, voice, managed services, VPN and related products to businesses, education and government departments in the coming year, he said.
Broadband offerings would be a particular focus of the roadshows, Blenkinsop said.
