Databricks has appointed Davinia Simon as public sector lead for ANZ.
She will lead Databricks’ public sector strategy across ANZ, deepening partnerships with government agencies, including NSW and QLD, while driving regional growth.
Most recently, Simon served as MD, client account lead at Accenture, where she led engagements with major government and enterprise clients.
Prior to this she was head of growth at Australian cloud management platform Stax prior to its acquisition by Telstra; head of channel and alliances at AWS for ANZ; and senior sales manager, enterprise and public sector for Adobe.
“Davinia’s experience at the intersection of technology and the government will be critical as we increase our support to meet the growing needs of public sector organisations across ANZ,” said Adam Beavis, VP and country manager for Databricks ANZ.
“Agencies are under real pressure to deliver tangible outcomes from their data and AI investments, and Davinia brings the expertise to help them do that at scale.”
“What drew me to Databricks is the ability to unify data and AI on a single platform, helping public sector organisations move faster and deliver real impact," said Simon.
"I look forward to working with customers and partners to realise that value."
