Datacom has introduced its largest integration centre in the country, based in Melbourne’s Dandenong industrial area.
The new custom-designed centre (1,332sqm) is the first in Victoria and acts as a national hub for the company.
The facility elevates support for metropolitan and regional VIC customers, as well as expands capacity to the point of processing and imaging up to 185 end user devices simultaneously.
This includes full spectrum support - taking receipt of bulk assets; configuration for customers across government, corporate, education and commercial industries; and delivery and installation.
Datacom’s associate director of customer partnerships, Sam Cook, said this new facility is a significant investment in the company's VIC services.
“Through this facility we will enhance our support to local Victorian customers, delivering IT assets, devices and accessories to meet our customers’ requirements," said Cook.
"This level of dynamic services also enables us to pivot quickly and adapt to our customers’ evolving needs, including staff growth strategies.
“This launch follows our integration facility expansions in NSW and SA, all of which are strategic investments in helping our customers modernise and rapidly onboard staff.”
