Data#3 state manager Glenn McAtee lands at Cirrus Networks

Data#3's former state manager, Glenn McAtee, has been appointed as Perth-based Cirrus Networks' new state manager for Western Australia.

McAtee was Data#3's WA state manager for close to six years and in that time produced more than 300 percent growth and increased staff by seven-fold, according to Cirrus.

Data#3 announced yesterday that McAtee's former position would be filled by former Telstra head of business development and solutioning Kingsley McGarrigle.

Prior to joining Data#3, McAtee was general manager at L7 Solutions for six years – the company that was co-founded by Cirrus managing director Matt Sullivan.

L7 Solutions was acquired by Cirrus in December 2015 for $500,000 after changing ownership multiple times over the years from Amcom to Vocus to M2 and lastly Cirrus.

Sullivan said: "We are excited to have someone of Glenn's calibre join the executive team. Having worked with Glenn at L7 Solutions and seen his success at Data#3 we are very confident he will grow and develop the WA business into the leading service and managed services player in the region."

McAtee said: "I am delighted to be joining Cirrus at such an exciting time in the organisation. Having established a reputation to design, deliver and manage innovative value-based solutions for clients, I am confident we can continue the success as a market leader in WA.

"With exceptional staff and a can do culture we will continue to drive growth and increase market share in WA."

McAtee starts with Cirrus on 11 October. He will report directly to Sullivan.
