Data#3 has hired former Telstra figure Kingsley McGarrigle to lead its Western Australia business.
In his new role, McGarrigle will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Data#3's WA business, including managing the ongoing strategy of the business.
He replaces former WA state manager Glenn McAtee, who departed after close to six years in the role.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Data#3 at such an exciting time," McGarrigle said. "Being asked to join the executive team to help continue the impressive growth strategy is a privilege and I look forward to working with the talented local team to help deliver great outcomes for our customers in Western Australia.”
Kingsley joined Telstra in 2009 and held multiple roles in enterprise and government divisions. Most recently, he was the head of Telstra's business development and solutioning division, working with a team of pre-sales technical consultants to manage 950 enterprise customers.
Data#3 chief executive Laurence Baynham welcomed McGarrigle to the team, saying: “Our business in Western Australia has seen excellent performance over the past five years. We are looking forward to Kingsley complementing the great skills we already have in the team, and to continuing our growth in the Western Australian market.”
McGarrigle starts at Data#3 on 16 October, where he will report directly to Baynham.
According to Data#3's most recent financial report, the WA business faced a tough economic environment in the 2017 financial year, resulting in revenue and profit falling seven percent.
