Data#3 expects profits to grow 25 percent when it publishes its results for the 2016 financial year next month.

The Brisbane-headquartered IT solution provider expects its consolidated net profit after tax (NPAT) of between $13 million and $13.5 million.

Data#3's profit has been on the rise since a low point in 2014, when the business posted NPAT of $7.5 million on revenue of $833.6 million.

This year's strong performance was led by the core Data#3 products business as well as solid growth in services. Data#3 chief executive Laurence Baynham told CRN: "The growth in the services business has boosted the result. Strategically, we are increasing the services business across the board and in particular cloud services is the fastest-growing component of the overall services business."

Last year, the company's public cloud revenues nudged toward $50 million, and Data#3 has targeted $100 million of public cloud sales in the 2016 year.

Data#3 is an Australian IT solution provider that listed with the ASX in 1997. Recently, Data#3 extended a multimillion-dollar contract with Brisbane Airport to provide 24-hour service desk management, network, server, database and desktop and network connectivity for 20,000 airport staff.

Data#3 is a CRN MVP, recognised for boasting some of Australia's highest levels of vendor partnerships in 2016 and 2015.
